- Practice Overview
Abigale M. Stolfe is a partner with the Toms River-based law firm of Stolfe Zeigler New Jersey Divorce Group. She graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1998 and from Widener School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2001.
Ms. Stolfe is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association-FLEC, to which she was appointed in 2007 after her term as Co-Chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section in 2006.
Ms. Stolfe is a co-founding member of the Ocean/Monmouth Inns of Court and was nominated Vice-President for the 2013-2015 term. She also serves as associate editor for the NJFL, a highly-respected publication of the Family Law Section regularly relied upon by New Jersey lawyers and judges along with those around the country.
Ms. Stolfe was selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2012 edition of Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Family Law.
Ms. Stolfe is a member of the Ocean County Bar Association and also a member of the Family Law Section for this Association. She has lectured for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education and American Trial Lawyers Association in addition to authoring articles and hosting lectures for the Ocean County Bar Association and Ocean/Monmouth Inns of Court.
Ms. Stolfe is an active mediator for the Ocean County Court as well as a private mediator.
In addition to negotiating settlements favorable to her clients, she remains active in trial and appellate work, including issues involving complex custody matters and religious divorce/custody cases – both requiring a knowledge of religious custom and law.
